Garlic Butter Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 150 g each)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 60 g butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Notes

Don't overcook—salmon is best when still slightly pink in the centre.

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon dry and season with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon skin-side up and cook for 4–5 minutes until golden. Flip and cook for another 3–4 minutes until just cooked through. Transfer to a plate.

  3. In the same pan, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and parsley.

  4. Spoon the garlic butter over the salmon and serve with your favourite sides.
